Target is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager for its Distribution Center in Georgia. You will lead safety, freight flow, budgeting and inventory controls, while coaching a team to meet performance goals.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, lean methods, and strong communication across functions. A four-year degree or equivalent experience is required, with flexibility for varied hours.

Qualifications

• Four year degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technology, Operations, or related field.
• Eight years of experience in manufacturing, production or distribution and supervisory experience, or 18–36 months as an Operations Manager.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to work a variety of hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read and interpret policies and operate systems within the DC.

Responsabilités

• Oversee safety and incident prevention as a top priority and ensure safe work practices.
• Manage freight flow to maximize speed, accuracy and gross margin.
• Lead payroll, expense and capital budgets and adjust for volume changes.
• Ensure inventory procedures and 100% on-hand accuracy.
• Collaborate with Inventory Management and Network Planning to optimize capacity.
• Drive continuous improvement through problem solving and lean practices.
• Develop and uphold policies and supervise team performance and staffing.
