Caterpillar Inc. seeks a Manager, Distribution (1st Shift) for the Aftermarket Parts Distribution Center in Clayton, OH. You will supervise 20–25 hourly staff, lead daily operations, and ensure safety and efficiency across receiving, storage, and shipping.

This onsite, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule on weekdays includes wide responsibilities from payroll to KPI-driven process improvements, with relocation and visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of decision-making processes and tools to reach productive decisions.
• Ability to communicate ideas and needs clearly and effectively.
• Understanding of performance management practices and tools.
• Ability to plan and organize time and resources methodically.
• Knowledge of problem-solving approaches to diverse situations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher and MS Office knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate distribution center teams through coaching and training.
• Drive operational excellence by resolving issues and improving processes.
• Ensure safety and compliance through daily safety meetings and mentoring.
• Oversee inventory and equipment management to support efficient operations.
• Manage payroll, attendance, and workflow tasks to reduce costs and improve service.
