Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper operation and upkeep of all rolling stock, machinery, and facility systems in a warehouse environment.

The role requires hands-on repair of conveyors, lifts, and automation equipment, with a focus on safety and reliability. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of technical training/experience in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus 5 years of technical schooling and/or training.
• 5 years of related maintenance experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment.
• Experience repairing powered industrial equipment such as material handling equipment and automation systems; prior Crown and/or Raymond equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on powered industrial equipment and automation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance of rolling stock and conveyors per OEM specifications.
• Maintain parts inventory and repair records; read work orders and electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and coordinate with supervisor as needed.
• Assist with building maintenance tasks (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting) as required.
