Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Kentucky (Carrollton) is seeking a Warehouse Loader to stage products on pallets, shrink wrap, and load pallets on trucks, ensuring safe transport and proper balance for each route.

You will operate a pallet jack or forklift, inspect trailers, select correct parts for delivery, maintain product integrity, and keep the work area clean while following all safety procedures. Regular attendance and the ability to lift up to 60 lb and push/pull up to 300 lb are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or 6 months of related work experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Regular, reliable attendance is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret simple numbers and letters.
• Basic computer skills for warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Stage product on pallets and shrink wrap to prevent loss.
• Load pallets on trucks and ensure correct parts for delivery with accuracy.
• Inspect trailers for suitability before loading.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Keep work area clean and safe; assist with other DC shuttles.
