Genuine Parts Company is seeking a warehouse associate to stage pallets, shrink wrap loads, and prepare shipments for trucks at the Memphis distribution center. The role includes inspecting trailers, organizing orders for delivery, and operating a forklift or pallet jack as required.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Forklift certification is preferred, and safety is emphasized in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience required.
• Forklift certified preferred.
• Regular, reliable attendance.
• Able to lift and move merchandise up to 60 lbs.
• Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs with mechanical aids.
• Able to stand and walk for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Stages product on pallets, shrink wraps to prevent loss, and loads pallets on trucks.
• Inspects trailers for suitability before loading.
• Ensures correct parts are placed on the correct truck and packs for delivery with accuracy.
• Operates pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintains integrity of products through proper handling and storage.
• Keeps work area clean to avoid accidents and enable rapid loading.
• Pulls stock orders until time to load trucks as needed.
• Assists with processing other DC shuttles.
