Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a warehouse associate to stage products on pallets, shrink-wrap, and load pallets for shipment by trip number and store number as received from packing and pulling areas.

You will prepare palletized loads, inspect trailers, ensure correct parts on trucks, operate pallet jack or forklift, and maintain safe handling and storage. Starting hourly rate is $22.00 with potential progression.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience required.
• Forklift certified preferred.
• Regular, reliable attendance required.
• Able to speak clearly and listen attentively.
• Capable of recognizing letters and numbers and remembering sequences.
• Basic computer APGJCe skills.

Responsibilities

• Stage product on pallets, shrink wrap, and load pallets on trucks.
• Inspect trailers for suitability before loading.
• Ensure correct parts are placed on the correct truck and map loading sequence.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
