Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to stage and palletize products, shrink-wrap loads, and prepare shipments. The role involves loading trucks, inspecting trailers, and ensuring accuracy in parts delivered to customers.

It requires basic math and good communication skills, with physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull heavy loads using equipment. This on-site position emphasizes safe handling, efficient order fulfillment, and dependable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or 6 months of experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Regular, reliable attendance required.
• Able to speak clearly and listen attentively.
• Capable of recognizing letters and numbers and remembering sequence.
• Basic computer skills (APGJCe).
• Capable of lifting/moving up to 60 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 300 lbs with equipment.
• Able to reach eight feet with ladder/stool when needed.

Responsibilities

• Stages product on pallets and shrink wraps for loading.
• Inspects trailers for suitability before loading.
• Ensures correct parts are loaded to correct truck and routes.
• Operates pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintains product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Keeps work area clean to prevent accidents.
• Pulls stock orders as needed.
• Assists with processing other DC shuttles.
• Follows safety procedures and works safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
