Join to apply for the Distribution Center Loader role at NAPA Auto Parts.

Position Mission
This position will be responsible for staging, shrink wrapping, and loading products by trip number and store number as received from the packing and pulling areas of the stockroom. It includes preparing palletized loads for shipment by shrink-wrapping to ensure safe transportation or storage, and assisting with pallet building and product selection for routes.

Responsibilities

• Stage products on pallets, shrink wrap to prevent loss, and load pallets onto trucks.
• Inspect trailers for suitability before loading.
• Ensure correct parts are placed on the correct truck, accurately and efficiently.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Keep work area clean for safety and efficiency.
• Pull stock orders as needed for loading trucks.
• Assist with processing other DC shuttles.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, And Abilities

• High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Reliable attendance and communication skills.
• Ability to recognize letters and numbers, both visually and aurally.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs with aids.
• Ability to reach and bend to floor and shelf levels.
• Comfortable entering trucks and working standing/walking for entire shift.

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and outside weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
