Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a Distribution Center Lead to oversee day-to-day activities of assigned shifts and associates. As a hands-on leader, you will monitor warehouse operations, ensure safety, and drive productivity across warehousing, transportation, and inventory tasks.

You will implement procedures to improve service levels and efficiency, supervise daily activities, and report performance metrics to DC management.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree.
• 4-6 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance, equipment, and inventory control systems.
• Champion safe working conditions and enforce safety protocols.
• Coordinate warehousing activities with management to ensure efficiency.
• Evaluate team performance, train staff, and report findings to DC management.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Record inventory transactions using manual or automated systems.
• Reinforce SEAL and Standard Work principles and support SEAL Operating Systems to boost productivity.
• Supervise and assist with daily shifts under the DC Supervisor.
