Job summary

American Tire Distributors seeks a Distribution Center Lead to manage day-to-day activities across shifts, coaching warehouse associates in warehousing, transportation, and safety tasks. You will help implement procedures to elevate productivity and service levels.

You will monitor equipment, oversee inventory control, and coordinate with management to ensure efficient operations, while driving safety and adherence to SEAL standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree required.
• 4-6 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance, equipment, and inventory control systems, manual or automated.
• Champion safe working conditions and monitor associates for equipment safety and warehouse protocols.
• Coordinate warehousing activities with management to ensure operational efficiency.
• Evaluate team performance, provide training, and report findings to management.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Record inventory transactions using manual or automated systems for equipment, supplies, and items.
• Reinforce SEAL and Standard Work principles and assist in implementing SEAL Operating Systems to boost productivity and service excellence.
• Supervise and assist with daily activities of assigned shifts under the Distribution Center Supervisor.
