Job summary

Perdue Farms Inc. is seeking a Multivac Production Line Lead for the 1st Shift in Accomac, VA. You will oversee daily line operations, support the supervisor with workforce coordination, and keep the line running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years.
Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee work at various stations along the production lines processing poultry food products.
Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters.
Ensure that the qualities of the products are met according to the product specifications of QA and USDA.
Ensure that all equipment throughout the departments is running smoothly.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
Lead and train line team members.
Monitor production lines for efficiency and quality.
Implement safety protocols and report incidents.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Control labor and material costs.
