Summary

Step into a leadership role as a Distribution Center Lead and help drive excellence across our inventory operations! In this dynamic position, you’ll guide and support a team of hourly associates as they perform essential inventory tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and smooth daily operations. You’ll champion our standards for quality, production, safety, ergonomics, and compliance.Working closely with cross-functional partners to keep our Distribution Center running at its best. This position has a base rate of $22.07 per hour, with opportunities for pay premiums, shift differentials and overtime where applicable. Annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Schedule : Monday through Wednesday, 7:00pm-7:00am

Lead the scheduling and work performance of hourly team members (staffing, attendance reporting, and disciplinary actions to be handled through Superintendent and/or Plant Manager).

Ensure completion of various inventory tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Compiling/reporting/distributing/disposing daily push list
  • Performing daily inventory process
  • Daily snap-shot reconciliation
  • Handling of inbound receipts and movements
  • Cycle counts as needed
  • Warehouse organization
  • Random pallet inspections
  • Maintaining SAP re-processor

Ensure development and cross training of team members.

Attend and holdregular meetings to communicate and inform on inventory issues.

Ensure the daily tasks are communicated and performed in accordance with standards.

Hold the cognitive awareness of and the ability to physically perform each position within the department.

Support other functions within the warehouse.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Minimum Education and Experience

Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.

Preferred Education and Experience

High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment.

Physical RequirementsandEnvironmental Factors

When in a plant environment:

May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

Will be exposed to wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.

Will be required to operate pallet jacks and forklifts to perform job duties.

May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100%humidity.

May be exposed to noise ranges up to 100 decibels.

May be exposed to all chemicals used in a food processing facility.

Must wear and use protective and safety equipmentrequiredfor the job as directed by the company.
