Position Summary

The Warehouse employee will be responsible for maintaining the needs of the warehouse and ensuring a safe, clean, and productive work environment for themselves and other team members, including inventory tracking.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Organize and clean work area
• Build load to specifications
• Drive forklift or other powered industrial truck
• Build pallet of products
• Wrap, stage, and load pallets
• Maintain accurate loading paperwork and departmental efficiency levels
• Consolidate pallets
• Complete associated paperwork
• Report at scheduled starting time
• Follow all company rules and regulations
• Follow direction of supervisors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

Education And/or Experience

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience
• High school diploma / GED preferred

Skills And Knowledge Requirements

• Receiving, off-loading, sorting, storing, and retrieving product, including lifting cartons and placing on or removing from conveyor
• Use of box-cutter to open cartons, tape gun, gum labels, and label-making equipment to size, secure, and affix tickets to merchandise
• Ensuring accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments
• Entering receiving information into computers
• Building pallets of cartons
• Operating forklift, pallet jack, and/or other heavy equipment; operating powered industrial vehicles safely and appropriately
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety standards
• Manipulating products by hand from a primary location to a cart, pallet, or plate (pushing and pulling)
• Moving materials within the distribution center as needed
• Prioritizing safety for self and coworkers at all times
• Basic counting and math skills
• Reading, writing, and comprehending basic communications
• Measuring using English and metric scales
• Learning basic computer and scanning systems
• Basic computer skills in MS Office software preferred
• Obtaining a valid, company-issued powered industrial vehicle license where required

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk 95% of the scheduled day
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

Pay range: $17.31 - $28.85 per hour.
