W3Global is seeking an Industrial Engineer for our Distribution Center in Lake Bluff, IL. The role focuses on warehouse process improvements, WMS optimization, and acquisition integration to drive efficiency and cost savings.

You will lead Lean initiatives, manage projects, and collaborate with IT, operations, and maintenance to enhance safety, quality, and throughput. Opportunity for overtime and leadership impact on day-to-day DC performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, WMS, and process optimisation.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects, analysing operational data, and implementing improvements.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Engage in engineering and project management to optimize DC operations.
• Configure WMS to enhance automation, picking, and allocation strategies.
• Collaborate with IT to test and implement system enhancements for productivity.
• Support warehouse technologies including forklifts, AGVs, conveyors, and robotics.
• Develop warehouse layouts, storage plans, and facility design recommendations.
• Manage slotting programs, bulk storage, and space optimization initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs, develop reports, and automate recurring analytics.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and time-and-motion studies.
• Coordinate acquisitions and lease expirations impacting the DC
• Provide leadership continuity and supervise operations during peaks.
