The Job Store Staffing is partnering with a consumer products organization to identify a General Manager to lead operations at a high-volume Distribution Center in the Denver metro area. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, balancing data-driven decisions with people leadership in a culture of continuous improvement.

You will manage day-to-day DC operations, develop Area Managers, and own site-level performance including budget and targets.

Competenze

• 5+ years in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain ops.
• 5+ years of people leadership in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Hands-on knowledge of Fulfillment, Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing operations.
• GM mindset—entrepreneurial, curious, improvement-driven.

• Lead day-to-day DC operations planning and execution.
• Develop Area Managers and frontline leaders while fostering a strong team culture.
• Address employee and customer concerns professionally and clearly.
• Align warehouse ops with broader supply chain objectives.
• Own site-level performance including budget, revenue, and targets.
• Drive cost optimization through Lean principles and process improvements.
• Maintain strong financial stewardship with full P&L responsibility.
• Partner cross-functionally on forecasting, replenishment, and inventory strategies.
• Support SOP development, capacity planning, and inventory placement initiatives.
• Improve inventory visibility, accuracy, and throughput using data and tech.
• Champion safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency initiatives.
• Lead or support automation efforts, layout redesigns, and system enhancements.
• Prepare and analyze operational performance reports to guide decisions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to achieve delivery, cost, and quality goals.
• Participate in network optimization projects, including routing and layout efficiency.
• Negotiate and maintain relationships with outbound transportation partners.
