Perfetti Van Melle in Erlanger, KY is seeking a Distribution Center Associate for the first shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM). You will receive, stock, pick, pack, ship orders, and operate WMS, RF devices, and voice headsets. May operate power equipment and pallet flipper.

Training provided. Candidates should have GMP/GWP knowledge, the ability to lift 50 pounds, forklift experience, and strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with RF guns and voice headsets is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

OVERVIEW

Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a key member of our Distribution Center Team, Distribution Center Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving, processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock, quarterly inventories of the DC, loading FTL,LTL and Parcel order and other duties assigned. You will work with the Warehouse management system via computers, RF guns, and voice headsets. You will also operate power industrial equipment and may require use of specialized equipment like a pallet flipper.

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Warehouse Practices
• Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely
• Forklift experience
• Ability to stand, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities and on-going projects.
• Flexibility and able to manage change with a positive attitude
• Time management skills to stay on track with fulfilling orders
