Perfetti Van Melle in Cincinnati is seeking a Distribution Center Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. This role focuses on accurate inventory tracking, shipping/receiving tasks, and maintaining reliable records.

You will coordinate with carriers, update the logistics team, and support the floor with timely data turnover. Forklift experience is REQUIRED, and you must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly while staying organized and safety‑minded.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and truck/warehouse experience valued.

We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Distribution Center Receiving Clerk to join our growing team.

Hours:

Monday-Friday from 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

What You Will Do

As the Receiving Clerk you will work in a warehouse environment and be responsible for tracking inventory levels, handling all aspects of shipping and receiving, maintaining metrics and keeping accurate records. The Receiving Clerk will work with carriers and drivers, set up appointments this includes checking in drivers, updating drivers, carriers and the logistics team. You may also work with customer service and release work to the floor as requested by the lead /supervisor, and will provide data and turnover information to the oncoming shifts.

• Prior forklift experience REQUIRED.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Warehouse Practices
• Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to stand, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities and on-going projects.
• Flexibility and able to manage change with a positive attitude
