Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle is seeking Distribution Center Associates to join our team in the United States. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour, with hours from 6:00am to 6:30pm on a 12-hour continental rotating schedule for the year.

Responsibilities include receiving, processing stock, picking, packing, and shipping orders using RF devices and the warehouse system. Knowledge of GMP/GWP, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong time management are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely.
• Excellent time management and multitasking.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scan devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders; manage inventory.
• Operate RF guns and the warehouse management system.
• Load/unload orders and perform quarterly inventories.

What You Will Do

As a key member of our Distribution Center Team, Distribution Center Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving, processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock, quarterly inventories of the DC, loading FTL,LTL and Parcel order and other duties assigned. You will work with the Warehouse management system via computers, RF guns, and voice headsets. You will also operate power industrial equipment and may require use of specialized equipment like a pallet flipper.
