Job summary

W. W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Associate at our Minooka, IL location. You will perform inbound/outbound warehouse tasks, ensure accurate order processing, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in line with OSHA guidelines.

This hourly role starts at $21.75/hour with three raises in the first year, plus additional pay for PIE operation and overnight shifts. We offer day-one benefits, PTO, 401(k) match, tuition assistance, and supportive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• PIE operators: operate warehouse vehicles and powered equipment (Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett, Turret Truck, Forklift)

Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks with attention to detail (unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing).
• Ensure products are shipped correctly to meet quality and delivery speed.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements.
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.
