Join AMSOIL as an Assistant Distribution Center (DC) Manager
AMSOIL INC. has an exciting opportunity as an Assistant DC Manager at our Distribution Center located in Superior, Wisconsin. The Assistant DC Manager plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations; assisting in managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring excellence in employee leadership, KPI monitoring, and timely, accurate order fulfillment and embodying our mission: to earn the loyalty of every customer by engineering innovative lubricant solutions and investing in expertise to deliver the performance they've been promised and the satisfaction they deserve.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Extended hours may be required.
- Location: 1101 Susquehanna Ave. Superior, WI 54880
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily order fulfillment activities including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping
- Provide excellent customer service via email, phone, and in person by putting the customer first
- Manage work assignments of up to 10 employees on a daily basis
- Maintain accurate inventory levels with cycle counts and daily reporting
- Ensure safe work environment at all times
- Maintain positive and encouraging work environment by coaching, developing, and training employees
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of experience in distribution or warehouse leadership
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- Forklift Certification (trained and received on the job)
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Computer skills including familiarity with RF barcode scanning technology
- Strong customer service experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
