Job summary

SUNY Upstate Medical University’s supply chain team is seeking a Distribution Center Assistant to join the Materials Management Warehouse. This role reports to the Warehouse and focuses on filling medical supply orders for patient care and maintaining stock locations.

The position is 40 hours per week with daytime hours, offering a generous benefits package including health insurance and retirement plans. Located in Syracuse, NY, permanent employment.

• There are no education or experience requirements

Responsibilities

• Report daily to the Warehouse and fill medical supply orders which are shipped to the hospital for patient care.
• Complete paperwork for receiving incoming stock.
• Places stock into correct locations and rotate it to prevent expiration.
• Display excellent customer service skills with delivery drivers.
