Job summary

ESAB seeks a Distribution Associate in Denton, TX to manage inventory, coordinate shipments and support warehouse operations. You will work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery of welding solutions.

Responsibilities include loading LTL trucks, processing packing lists and bills of lading, operating forklifts, and maintaining records in SAP while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (reading, speaking and writing).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RF guns experience preferred.
• Heavy order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load LTL trucks and process ship confirmations (e.g., packing slips).
• Move materials with forklifts and prepare orders for shipment.
• Pull, pack, band, and ship customer orders.
• Process bill of lading and consolidate PIDs.
• Follow regulatory standards and safety policies (FDA, UL, ISO).

Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, the Distribution Associate is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external vendors to keep our operations running smoothly. Primary Duties

• Load LTL trucks
• Processing of documents and ship confirmations (i.e.: packing slips)
• Move materials with multiple forklifts (reach truck, order picker, electric pallet jack, dock stocker)
• Pulling and packing of customer orders
• Banding pallets
• Processing bill of lading
• Consolidation of PID’s
• Picking and shipping
• HAZMAT
• Troubleshoot HAZMAT issues
• Utilizing product knowledge to correctly fulfill orders, escalating issues as needed
• Work efficiently to attain goals
• Follow regulatory agency (FDA, UL or ISO) standards or policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading, speaking and writing)
• High school degree or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience with RF guns preferred
• Heavy order fulfillment experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred

Working Conditions

• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Personal computer skills – SAP, Microsoft Office
• Must be willing to operate forklift equipment, working at heights of 30 feet
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership capability
• Capable of working required overtime
• Ability to apply and use required forces (i.e.: 50 lbs. of material lifting) repetitively
