Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Distribution Associate in Redlands, CA 92374 for 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm). Focus on accurate case picking, EPJ operation, and reading pick tickets with handheld scanners.

Must have HS diploma or GED (or 2+ years related experience) and be comfortable using EPJ, RF devices, forklifts, and related equipment. Safety shoes required.

Qualifications

• Two years of EPJ operation experience.
• Effective and accurate case picking skills.
• Comfortable reading pick tickets, labels, and using handheld scanners or RF devices.
• Must have Electric Pallet Jack experience.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred, or 2+ years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products within a plant, office or warehouse using a variety of equipment (EPJ, forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, power trucks).
• Maintain records and follow SOPs; work under supervision with quality guidelines.
• Read and interpret English documents; perform basic math; operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills.

7. Uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse.

May maintain records. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method. Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps. Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. Works under general to limited supervision.

High school diploma or equivalent. Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training. Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed. Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.G., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).

Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand. Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations. Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. General computer skills.

The job can require lifting and/or moving over 50 lbs. The position will have exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions and vibration. Occasionally the position will have exposure to work in high, precarious places and fumes/airborne particles. It is hot in the summer months (no AC) and cold in the winter months (limited heating). The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
