Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for the second shift in Redlands, CA. This 12-month contract role involves moving materials with forklifts and pallet jacks, verifying labels, and performing basic material handling tasks in a measurement-driven environment.

The candidate should have 0–1 year warehouse experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and possess basic math, English reading/writing, and scanning skills. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Zero to 1 year warehouse experience or related training.
• Primarily manual labor including unloading trucks and stacking pallets (mostly under 25 lbs).
• Must verify labels on boxes and match to pallets; scanning experience required.
• Stand up forklift experience needed.
• Obtain/maintain licenses or certifications as needed.
• Basic training in material handling, logistics, or production processes.
• Effective communication with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read/write English and perform basic math; comfortable in a metrics-driven environment; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, and goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Maintain records and follow prescribed steps under SOPs.
• Follow quality guidelines and work under general to limited supervision.
• Assist in routine tasks related to material handling within the plant or warehouse.

Duration : 12 Months Contract

Total Hours/week : 40.00

pay range -$16-20/hr

2nd shift

Must have Forklift & Pallet jack capability

• Uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse.
• May maintain records. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• Works under general to limited supervision. High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications & Skills

• Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Mainly manual labor - unloading trucks and stacking pallets - under 25 lbs (some weigh less than 5 lbs)
• Must be able to verify labels on boxes and matching to pallets. Attention to detail is essential! Scanning experience is needed as well
• Stand up forklift experience needed
• Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
• Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations. Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. General computer skills.

• It is hot in the summer months (no AC) and cold in the winter months (limited heating). The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
