Job summary

Xcel Energy in Denver is seeking a senior analytics leader to manage the analytics support staff for Distribution Planning, oversee the analytics, reporting, and technology needs, and drive regulatory filings. You will coordinate with regulatory bodies and senior stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely insights and robust reporting.

The role requires a strong background in data governance, modeling, and leadership, with experience in power flow modeling and load forecasting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Seven years of experience with data governance, data stewardship, data quality management, data management or analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, leadership, interpersonal, and analytic skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the analytical support staff for Distribution Planning.
• Oversee regulatory reporting requirements for Distribution Planning; ensure data is valuable and reports are effective.
• Coordinate with enterprise partners on data governance strategy and its implementation.
• Oversee the administration of software systems and development of new analytical tools.
