Xcel Energy is seeking a senior analytics manager to lead the analytics support staff for Distribution Planning in Minnesota. You will oversee generation modeling analyses, regulatory filings, and data governance initiatives across multiple teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, project leadership, and collaboration with enterprise partners. A strong background in analytics and regulatory reporting will help drive actionable insights and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, computer science, business or related field required.
• Seven years of experience with data governance, data stewardship, data quality management, data management or analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, leadership, interpersonal, and analytic skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and Analytics - Manage the daily activities of the analytical support staff to meet the requirements of each functional area within Distribution Planning.
• Reporting - Manage regulatory reporting requirements for Distribution, including regularly scheduled reports and ad hoc data requests.
• Regulatory - Oversees Distribution Planning support of state and federal regulatory activities and communication of decisions.
• Data Governance – Coordinate with enterprise partners on development and implementation of a data governance strategy across Distribution Planning.
