J.S. Held is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Boston team, focusing on distressed real estate projects. The role involves hands-on on-site property management and a mix of financial modeling, analysis, and client support across multiple industries.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in related fields, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team. The position is full-time and office-based in Boston, MA.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Audit, Big 4 Accounting, Banking, Consulting, Finance, or related fields.
• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting preferred; Master's is a plus.
• Deep understanding of financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support the reporting manager in project management and financial analysis across a wide range of projects and industries.
• Execute and review detailed financial modeling, build and analyze cash flow forecasts, and conduct financial statement reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of assessments and court reporting.
• Conduct industry research and contribute to client engagements with due diligence.
• Collaborate effectively within project teams and interact with senior-level client personnel.
• Manage on-site property operations and ensure operational efficiencies.
• Maintain strict adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
• Contribute to development and enhancement of internal processes and procedures.
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain credibility in all interactions.
