Job summary

Point72’s Global Macro team is seeking an experienced credit trader to support discretionary macro strategies, handling execution across corporate bonds and CDS. You will work with a portfolio manager to execute trades, maintain liquidity relationships, and analyze new issues, while ensuring robust risk controls and ethical standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with syndicate desks, operational risk awareness, and a proactive approach to market research within a leading global investment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a credit trader- corporate bonds or CDS.
• Experience with OMS/EMS platforms such as MarketAxess and TradeWeb.
• Ability to communicate potential operations risks proactively.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with the portfolio manager on execution of credit trades, electronic and non-electronic.
• Maintain strong relationships with liquidity providers.
• Analyze new issues and interact with syndicate desks.
• Be responsible for position maintenance and liaising with Investment Services on corporate actions.
• Conduct research on transaction cost analysis and broker/algorithm evaluation.
