Job summary

First Citizens Innovation Bank seeks a Senior Special Assets professional to manage distressed credit relationships and drive workout strategies. You will lead negotiations, structure amendments, and forbearance agreements, while providing credit memoranda and portfolio updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in credit training or financial modeling.
• HS diploma with 6+ years in credit training or financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of criticized, classified, and distressed credit relationships with ongoing risk analysis.
• Lead evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and execution of credit actions including amendments and forbearance.
• Serve as primary contact with company management, boards, investors, and sponsors for workouts and recovery.
• Prepare and present credit memoranda, risk ratings, reserve analyses, and portfolio updates to senior management.
• Maintain expertise in restructuring, bankruptcy, and distressed credit practices; mentor junior staff.
