Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial Banking or Loan Review.
• College degree strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Overnight travel is required.
• Knowledge of vehicle and equipment evaluation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files to understand the transaction and circumstances.
• Takes appropriate action to enforce the Bank's rights with respect to the loan and collateral.
• Discuss issues with supervisor, management, and/or legal counsel to develop strategies and solutions.
• Document loan files with actions taken for each account.
• Work with third parties to dispose of collateral when appropriate.
• Interact with commercial banking officers on shared accounts.
• Review and interpret financial statements and perform cash flow analysis to assess borrower strength.
• Respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and ensure compliance with Bank policies.
• Develop and implement credit administration strategies to minimize losses.
• Ensure accounts are managed per Credit Policy and laws.
• Make, review, and approve foreclosure bid recommendations.
• Evaluate real estate and equipment liquidation scenarios for CRU officers.
• Review foreclosure bidding instructions for input.
• Evaluate collateral for commercial lenders as needed.
• Act as liaison between department and vendors for real estate, equipment, vehicle sales.
