Index Engines is seeking a Distinguished Software Engineer to join our Platform team in Holmdel, NJ. You will design scalable architectures, mentor teams, and lead implementation of CyberSense features, including AI-powered improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong software development experience in C and Python on Linux.
• Proficient with Linux security and cryptographic algorithms (OpenSSL/TLS).
• Experience building scalable data structures and algorithms and Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and craft design/architecture for scalable, secure solutions.
• Write clean, production-grade code and participate in reviews and deployment.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and coordinate technical deliverables.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to integrate and test modules.
• Support with customer-impacting issue resolution with the team.
• Work with Product Management to review requirements and plan features.
• Provide technical leadership within the CyberSense product areas.
• Promote adoption of latest AI technologies across the team.
