Elevance Health in the United States seeks a Distinguished AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale, production-grade AI systems across the enterprise. You will architect scalable AI solutions, define architecture patterns, and drive modernization through automated transformations while mentoring engineers and influencing tech strategy.

Location expectations include hybrid in-office 3 days/week with flexibility; alternate locations may be considered within

Competenze

• 15+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent background.
• Production-grade AI/ML systems experience at scale, with agentic systems or large language models.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, or similar.

Mansioni

• Architect and lead design of scalable AI solutions across the enterprise.
• Define enterprise-wide technical direction, architecture patterns, and integration standards.
• Modernize legacy systems through automated code transformation and service decomposition.
• Design AI-enabled SDLC practices to improve velocity and quality.
