Distillery Production Team Lead

Job summary

Diageo Americas is seeking a experienced supervisor for our Tennessee distillery operations. You will lead a day shift team, oversee production planning, safety programs, and quality processes to ensure on-time, compliant output.

Reporting to the site manager, you will coach hourly staff, drive cost control, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to optimize performance while upholding Diageo's standards of safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Management, Science or Engineering with 5+ years people management experience in distillery or warehousing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and management background.
• Strong analytical and budgeting skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Must work well with other departments and management levels.
• Thorough working knowledge of PSM, OSHA, HACCP, and ISO.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production staff.
• Develop a performance-driven, efficient team.
• Improve safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Review production paperwork and maintain databases.
• Lead MMS improvement projects as site lead.
• Communicate production schedules to departments.
