- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Communication, Education, or a related field required.

Position Description
Under the direction of the Director of Distance Learning, supports the College’s learning management system and distance learning initiatives by providing operational, technical, and instructional support to faculty, staff, and students. Assists with LMS administration, course readiness, instructional technologies, faculty support, and online course quality to help ensure accessible, student-centered learning environments and the effective delivery of distance learning.

- Provide operational, technical, and administrative support for the College’s Learning Management System (LMS) and related instructional technologies to ensure the reliable delivery of distance learning.
- Support LMS administration, including course creation, user accounts, enrollments, permissions, troubleshooting, system testing, vendor coordination, and platform enhancements.
- Manage course quality by supporting course preparation, conducting readiness reviews, and promoting continuous improvement to ensure courses meet institutional quality and accessibility standards.
- Partner with faculty to improve courses by providing guidance on course design, learning activities, assessments, accessibility, learner engagement, and instructional best practices.
- Develop and deliver training, documentation, and support resources for faculty, staff, and students related to the LMS and instructional technologies.
- Collect, maintain, analyze, and distribute data and reports related to LMS operations, course readiness, faculty support, and instructional technology initiatives.
- Assist with evaluating and implementing instructional technologies, special projects, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts that support distance learning operations, instructional innovation, and student success.

- Participate in campus activities and promote college programs and events to faculty, staff, students, and the community.
- Participate in the College’s recruitment efforts by reviewing and providing recommendations for program publications, the College’s website, social media, marketing materials, and other community relations activities.
