Qualifications

• Ability to interpret, analyze and fill ophthalmic prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients regarding vision prescriptions and available options.
• Maintain profitability of operations while meeting patient needs and maintaining quality and honesty.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete operational tasks.
• Maintain up-to-date procedural manuals as appropriate.
• Order all products to stock the dispensary.
• Complete all patient orders including frames, lenses and contact lenses.
• Manage returns of defective or unused products.
• Provide repairs and adjustments for all frames.
• Review jobs for accuracy and check lab work.
• Complete nightly deposits.
• Manage and collect patient orders.
• Maintain appearance of the dispensary and displays.
• Ensure dispensary-related objectives are met.
