Job summary

iAnthus Capital Management is seeking a Dispensary Lead to help manage daily dispensary operations and lead a patient-focused team. The role reports to the Dispensary Manager and ensures compliance with all state and local laws and company policies.

The position requires overseeing opening/closing, cash handling, inventory control, and ongoing staff development. Strong attention to detail and regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years in a retail environment managing a team.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of local and state laws pertaining to medical marijuana preferred.
• Experience with Excel, POS, and inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Open or close the dispensary (key holder).
• Balance cash and product inventory during daily close.
• Observe and participate in patient services during consultations and sales.
• Update Communication Binder with current team information.
• Audit patient intake forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with Verified Financial Hardship (VFH) program.
• Maintain accountability of all team members per job descriptions.
• Perform general office work (filing, copying, emailing).
• Uphold all Company policies and procedures.
• Provide General Manager with weekly feedback on inventory and sales.
• Ensure proper recordkeeping of patient intake forms, cash handling, chain of custody, and waste disposal logs.
• Educate team on product offerings and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate patient home delivery schedule with Delivery Manager.
• Participate in weekly and quarterly management meetings.
