Job summary

Solar Cannabis Co. is seeking a Dispensary Inventory Specialist to manage daily stock on the sales floor and support inventory accuracy across the dispensary.

Under the Dispensary Inventory Supervisor and Manager, you will learn METRC and Dutchie, analyze suppliers for cost-effective purchases, and maintain compliance while keeping a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Cannabis industry experience preferred.
• Proactive with strong work ethic and detail-oriented.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily stock of product on sales floor.
• Implement inventory tracking systems designated by management.
• Maintain and track levels of all supplies within the dispensary.
• Analyze suppliers for non-cannabis products to ensure cost-effective deals.
• Research and correct product variances in the inventory tracking system.
• Build knowledge of METRC, Dutchie, and other inventory systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

JOB TITLE: Dispensary Inventory Specialist

AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION: Report directly to Dispensary Inventory Supervisor, with additional oversight by the Dispensary Manager

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain daily stock of product on sales floor
• Implement inventory tracking systems designated by management
• Maintain and track levels of all supplies within the dispensary
• Analyze various suppliers for non-cannabis product to ensure the company is receiving cost-effective deals
• Research and correct any product variances within the inventory tracking system
• Build knowledge of METRC, Dutchie, and other inventory systems
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree in Business or related experience preferred
• Cannabis experience preferred
• Must be proactive, have strong work ethic and pay great attention to detail
• Organizational and time management skills required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Possess valid driver's license or state ID
• Must pass all required background checks
• Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends
• Must be, and continue to remain, fully compliant with all laws, regulations, and company policies
• Frequently moves up to 30 pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance)
• This job function may include being in a stationary position or moving for extended periods of time
