Mood Cannabis is a high-energy, customer-first dispensary committed to providing top-quality cannabis products and service in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a dedicated and organized General Manager to lead our team and ensure the efficient and successful operation of our store.
Job Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dispensary, managing a team of 18–24 staff members, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers, employees, and corporate leadership. This role involves scheduling, inventory oversight, vendor relations, staff hiring and support, and ensuring the store meets operational and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all store operations with a hands-on approach
Supervise, coach, and support a team of 18–24 employees
Create and manage employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing coverage
Oversee daily inventory management and coordinate promotional deals
Build and maintain relationships with vendors; create and track purchase orders
Collaborate with the corporate controller to ensure timely invoice payments
Handle and resolve customer issues, complaints, and feedback
Address staff concerns professionally and escalate to HR as needed
Partner with HR in the hiring process, including interviewing and onboarding
Act as the primary contact for store-related concerns and emergencies
Stay organized and ready to manage various tasks and ongoing projects
Ensure all operations comply with state cannabis laws and regulations
Foster a positive and productive team culture focused on performance and accountability
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of dispensary management experience required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be willing to undergo a background check
No formal degree required
Proven leadership and organizational skills
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Must be available to work a full-time schedule, including weekends
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Dependable, punctual, and highly motivated
