Job summary

Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation is seeking a Dispensary Associate to warmly assist patients, process orders, and uphold HIPAA and state compliance standards. You’ll be the first point of contact and represent the company with professionalism.

You will learn and operate the POS system, ensure accurate inventory control, verify prescriptions, and help educate patients about the Compassionate Use Program and Texas Original offerings.

Qualifications

  • Experience with POS systems and inventory platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comply with HIPAA, local and state cannabis regulations.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage patients in a warm and welcoming manner, offering personalized recommendations and solutions.
  • Handle patient issues and complaints in a proactive and professional manner with patient retention in mind.
  • Uphold inventory control to minimize loss by complying with state and company procedures.
  • Learn and execute POS to set up patient profiles, check out patients and deliver excellent service.
  • Serve as the face of Texas Original with exceptional customer relationships.

TheDispensaryAssociateis highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated toassistwithDispensaryresponsibilities.The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, as well as with a team, and follow strict protocols for accuracy and compliance.The candidate will be comfortable using point of sale system and electronic correspondence. TheDispensaryAssociate is arepresentativeof Texas Original and willpossessexceptionalcustomer service and communication skills as they can be the first contact for some of our patientsand therefore the face of the company. We also hope that our dispensary associate will help usidentifyways we can be more effective and efficient by contributing fresh ideas for improvement.

Essential Functions:
  • Actively engage patients in awarmand welcoming manner, offer personalized recommendations and solutions
  • Handle patient issues and complaints in a proactive and professional manner with patient retention always in mind, escalating to theappropriate partieswhen necessary
  • Uphold inventory control to minimize loss bycomplying withall state and company inventory control procedures and vendor delivery procedures
  • Learn and execute point of sale systems to set up patient profiles, check patients out and deliver exceptional customer service to every patient, every time
  • Commit to being the Gold Standard in customer service by building andmaintainingcustomer relationships
  • Gather feedback from patients and communicate any questionsor concerns with theappropriate department(s)
  • Assistin educating potential patients on the Compassionate Use Program and how to become a Texas Original
  • Daily compliance with dispensary policies including but not limited to state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, inventory tracking, dress code, workschedulesand HR policies
  • Contribute to team environment and company advancement in alignment with Texas Original direction
  • Other duties assigned
  • Serve as the first line of defense for the company, upholding our standards of excellence in customer service. Interact with customers via phone, email, and in-person toaid, answer inquiries, and resolve issues related to orders, shipments, and account management.
  • Process online orders accurately and efficiently, ensuringtimelyfulfillment and delivery.Assistcustomerswithplacing orders over the phone, providing product information, pricing, and availability as needed.
  • Execute daily order fulfillment tasks while adhering to regulatory standards
  • Maintainingaccurateinventory records and fulfillment practices
  • Verify prescriptions, pick products, and pack orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Ability to ensure all fulfillment activities align with HIPAA, local, and state cannabis regulations
  • High standardsfor order accuracy, compliance documentation, and inventory audits
  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, track orders, and ensureaccuratefulfillment
  • Experience with POS systems and digital inventory platforms
  • Ability to design and improve workflows for order accuracy, efficiency, andtimelydelivery
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate team members
  • Effective delegation, scheduling, and performance monitoring
  • Ability to troubleshoot supply chain or inventory issues
  • Comfortable navigating high-stress situations like regulatory inspections, shipment delays, or system errors
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs., and perform various physical movements, including reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, and fine motor actions as needed

$20 - $20 an hour
