Job summary

ABM Industries in Wichita, KS seeks an experienced Dispatcher to schedule and dispatch temporary janitorial staff across multiple locations. You will coordinate with shift coordinators and supervisors to ensure coverage and timely movement of personnel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective communication with co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Schedule and dispatch resources, such as team members or crews, to locations per customer requests using phones and email.
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of team members according to work orders and schedules.
• Oversee all communications within assigned area(s).
• Record and maintain files of dispatch information including temporary employee time and schedules.
• Consult with ABM supervisors and team members to address questions or requests for coverage.
• Compile statistics and reports on work progress.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Schedule and dispatch resources, which may be team members, crews, and teams to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using telephones and email.
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of team members according to work orders and/or resource schedules.
• Oversee all communications within specifically assigned area(s).
• Record and maintain files and records of dispatch information including temporary employee time and schedules.
• Confer with ABM supervisors and team members to address questions, problems, and requests for temporary coverage.
• Compile statistics and reports on work progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
