Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Dispatcher to schedule and dispatch temporary janitorial team members to various locations. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and is friendly to veterans.

A bilingual English/Spanish candidate is preferred, with prior dispatching experience and the ability to manage 50+ employees. The position requires being at least 18 years old and, while no high school diploma is required, prior experience in scheduling and dispatching is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective communication with coworkers, shift coordinators, supervisors and managers.
• Schedule and dispatch resources (team members, crews) to locations per customer requests using phone and email.
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of team members according to work orders and schedules.
• Oversee communications within assigned area(s).
• Record and maintain files of dispatch information including temporary employee time and schedules.
• Coordinate with ABM supervisors and team members to address questions and requests for temporary coverage.
• Compile statistics and reports on work progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
