Job summary

Yarde Metals is seeking a Dispatcher for the 3rd shift at North Canton, OH. The role coordinates truck routes for outbound deliveries and pickups, ensuring loads are safely loaded and space is maximized to prevent damage.

This SAFETY-SENSITIVE position requires forklift experience, strong problem solving, organizational, and communication skills, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE position: requires operating heavy machinery.
• 3 years of experience material handling and loading trucks, forklift experience, and experience scheduling deliveries strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English to follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• SAFETY FIRST! Schedule outbound deliveries for truck drivers in coordination with delivery zones.
• Read and interpret maps to prepare, schedule, and route trucks.
• Coordinate deliveries and pickups according to customer specifications.
• Analyze and resolve delivery problems.
• Scan orders, assign a status, and create delivery documentation.
• Communicate instructions and expectations with drivers and loaders.
• Perform administrative duties for operations.
• Perform duties of a material handler/loader as needed.
