Qualifications

• Dispatch systems experience preferred; familiarity with routing and logistics software is a strong plus
• Billing and administrative experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable on phone, radio, and in person
• Able to multitask, stay organized, and follow up on outstanding issues
• Strong problem-solving instincts; quick, good calls under pressure
• Professional, customer-service attitude with calm handling of difficult situations
• Computer proficient; Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and in-house systems
• Willingness to learn the scrap metal recycling industry; knowledge is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
• Candidates within 50 miles of location preferred
• Must pass a hair drug test and background check

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drivers and routes to ensure timely, reliable service
• Handle inbound service requests and triage issues quickly
• Monitor systems and respond to customer and yard needs
• Review daily paperwork and validate billing
• Assist drivers with field issues and escalate when needed
• Perform general office and billing duties as assigned
