Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is seeking a Driver Coordinator to support daily transportation operations and ensure timely, accurate scheduling of drivers. You will coordinate assignments, communicate with customers about demand, and enter data into our systems with attention to detail.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential to serving patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and MS Office.
• Ability to communicate in English and coordinate drivers.
• Experience coordinating drivers and schedules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drivers according to customer requests and company rules.
• Communicate with customers to determine driver demand and schedules.

Job Description:

• Coordinates drivers according to customer requests and in compliance with company rules.
• Communicates with customers to determine driver demand and driving schedules.
• Notifies drivers of assignments and enters assignment data into a computer database.
• Monitors driver performance and adherence to schedules.
• Resolves any issues or conflicts that arise during driver assignments.
• Maintains accurate records of driver assignments and schedules.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
