AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is hiring registered nurses for night shift to join a faith-based health care team. You will conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, document care in EMR, and collaborate with professionals to deliver safe, compassionate care.

We seek an ASN graduate with Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS; 6 months hospital experience or completion of AHWC Graduate Nurse Training.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree upon hire.
• Active Florida RN or APRN license required upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or RQI upon hire and then renewed quarterly following RQI protocols.
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification or RQI upon hire and then renewed quarterly following RQI protocols.
• Current NIHSS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.

Job Description

Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates: 10k Relocation assistance for eligible candidates 12p-12a Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR). Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols. Respond promptly to life‑threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree upon hire
• Six months of hospital nursing experience upon hireORsuccessful completion of the AHWC Graduate Nurse Training Program
• Active Florida RN or APRN license required upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or RQI upon hire and then renewed quarterly following RQI protocols
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification or RQI upon hire and then renewed quarterly following RQI protocols
• Current NIHSS Certification upon hire.
• 8 hours Stroke Education within 6 months of hire date, then annually.
• 8 hours Hip & Knee Replacement / Spine Education within 6 months of hire date, then annually.

Pay Range: $31.85 - $52.76
