Coastal Elite Pro in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced dispatcher to manage daily load dispatch for professional drivers (Class A CDL). You will relay instructions, assign equipment, coordinate routes, and maintain safety-first communications to keep operations efficient.

The role emphasizes DOT compliance, incident resolution, and proactive planning; you will update systems, debrief drivers, and collaborate with management to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CDL, DOT, OSHA regulations.
• Effective multi-tasking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Experience in high-paced dispatching environments (2-5 years required).

Responsibilities

• Review routing and scheduling plans, dispatch routes, and ensure all assignments are covered.
• Relay information and instructions to drivers, providing support for successful daily performance.
• Develop coverage plans for uncovered loads and communicate updates effectively.
• Utilize communication channels to address operational issues such as delivery adjustments, safety incidents, and compliance.
• Engage with drivers, elevate issues, and suggest solutions to management.
• Update dispatch systems accurately, conduct driver debriefs, and review paperwork.
• Answer calls professionally, troubleshoot issues, and ensure driver compliance with DOT regulations.
• Complete safety observations and promote best work practices.
