Aston Carter is hiring a Remote Dispatcher to support a growing field service operation. This 100% remote role requires residing within roughly 75 miles of Washington, DC, with a Mon-Fri daytime schedule and a 10-12 month contract that may lead to permanent hire. Training is 3-4 weeks long to ensure full readiness.

You will coordinate service technicians, manage work orders, and communicate with customers, technicians, and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.

Remote Dispatcher

Location: DC

100% Remote, must live within approximately 75 miles of the DC

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM EST

Pay

$20-$21/hour

The Opportunity

We are hiring Dispatchers to support a growing field service operation. This team coordinates service technicians who travel to customer locations to repair and maintain equipment. This is a fast-paced role focused on scheduling, dispatching, customer communication, and problem-solving. You'll manage incoming service requests, coordinate technician schedules, and help ensure customers receive timely service.

What You'll Do

• Review incoming work orders through Salesforce
• Assign service calls to the appropriate field technicians
• Manage technician schedules, routes, and service appointments
• Schedule upcoming work across multiple service territories
• Monitor high-volume work order activity and adjust schedules as priorities change
• Communicate delays, schedule changes, and appointment updates to customers
• Handle escalated service requests and customer concerns
• Communicate regularly with technicians, account managers, sales, and customer service teams
• Manage frequent phone and email communication throughout the day

What We're Looking For

Dispatching experience is strongly preferred.

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• Previous dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience
• Customer service experience
• Experience managing schedules and high-volume workloads
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle changing priorities and difficult customer situations
• Basic Excel skills, including sorting and filtering
• Salesforce experience is a plus
• Stable work history with demonstrated tenure
• Ability to stay productive and accountable in a fully remote environment

Training & Opportunity

New hires receive 3-4 weeks of structured, side-by-side training before taking ownership of assigned service markets.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
