Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Dispatcher for its Distribution Center to plan and maintain efficient transportation routes, assist in driver scheduling, route and schedule orders for customers, and coordinate with drivers and leadership to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes strong verbal and written communication and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Starting pay is $22/hour with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal, customer service and telephone skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Maintains constant communication with drivers and leadership to ensure DOT Hours of Service compliance.

Dispatcher Distribution Center Address: 1410 Gordon Food Service Dr, Plant City

Work Schedule

Sunday: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Monday and Tuesday 11:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Wednesday and Thursday 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM
