Job summary

PNW Warehousing LLC in Sumner, WA is seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to coordinate transportation operations, schedule shipments, and communicate with drivers and clients in a fast-paced environment. You will use AS400, PortPro, or Oracle Transportation Management to track freight, manage documentation, and resolve delays, with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience in the logistics industry.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (AS400, PortPro, OTMs) is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule transportation for shipments with optimal routing.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Track freight movements using a TMS and manage logistics operations.
• Handle shipping/receiving documentation with accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with drivers to provide clear instructions and support.
• Resolve issues or delays during dispatch.
• Maintain records of dispatch activities and communications.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Coordinate and schedule transportation for shipments, ensuring optimal routing and efficiency.
• Monitor the progress of shipments and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Utilize transportation management systems to track freight movements and manage logistics operations.
• Handle shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with drivers to provide clear instructions and support during transit.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities and communications.
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients, drivers, and vendors.

Pay Scale: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour depending on experience
