Medline Industries, LP is seeking a logistics coordinator to assure all routes are filled and to provide timely instructions and responses to requests for information from drivers and customers throughout the day.

The role includes responding to delivery questions, using scheduling systems to retrieve schedules, and assigning drivers to routes while adhering to DOT Hours of Service regulations. A high school diploma and prior scheduling/administrative experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years experience with inbound/outbound call handling, scheduling or administrative work.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.

• Route drivers according to skill set and DOT Hours of Service regulations.
• Complete daily reports and clerical duties.
• Ensure correct departments have all necessary paperwork for on-time delivery departure.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding deliveries including no shows, cancellations and scheduled deliveries.
• Respond to customer inquiries and needs in a timely manner.
• Use computer system to retrieve schedule and asset information.
• Use reference material to quickly and accurately determine the best method to assign driver resources and routes striving for maximum efficiency and utilization while reducing mileage when possible.
• Update, prepare, and dispense the daily route schedule.
• Monitor and document route manifests and deliveries throughout the day adjusting for changes as needed.
• Make and schedule appointments with customers that require delivery appointments.
• Route drivers according to their skill set and available DOT mandated Hours of Service regulations.
• Complete a variety of daily reports and clerical duties.
• Ensure correct departments have all necessary paperwork for on time delivery departure.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $19.00 - $27.50 Hourly The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
